An extension of the Schuylkill River Trail in Philadelphia extending the trail from Locust Street south four blocks to connect to the South Street Bridge. Website: http://www.visitphilly.com/articles/philadelphia/top-reasons-to-visit-the-awesome-new-schuylkill-banks-boardwalk/
I filmed this section of the Schuylkill River Trail from Wissahickon state park down to the South street bridge. Finally got a chance to check out the new Schuylkill River boardwalk built just a few months ago, which extends the trail down to South street. It's great to see so many people out enjoying this fine spring weather and staying fit. Video sped up approx. 5x Song: Puppy by Netsky

Eduard Scott Hamilton, USA. Hamilton developed his guitar playing out of an eclectic mix of influences that included Charlie Christian and rock, Latin and funk. Although he built a following during the early 90s he experienced difficulty in persuading record companies to accommodate him. As he told jazz writer Deni Kasrel, 'Since I didn't fit into any category, they didn't think they could sell it...' Showing remarkable tenacity, Hamilton stuck with his wide-ranging preferences and in 1996 was able to make the record he wanted. On the album he played guitar, bass and synthesizers, and also used guests Lenny White and George Howard. The diversity of approach that confounded record company executives makes it difficult to summarize Hamilton's style. The fact that the music featured on his de...

On the 14th photo, I have penciled in the section of the original boardwalk north of 4th street which was destroyed in the March storm of 1962. This section is visible most clearly in the 9th photo. It ran in front of the old Delaware and Breakers Hotels. The section of boardwalk just to the south of this remained until it was moved inland in 1980. The boardwalk south of 12th street was also either severely damaged or destroyed, and had to be rebuilt. The Surf Theater opened just north of 12th & the Boardwalk in 1929 after the great fire, and was originally called the Showboat and presented vaudeville acts. By the early 40's it was taken over by the Strand Theater Company. It was converted to an shopping mall in the early 80's. Copper Kettle Fudge was located at 11th & the Boardwalk, on ...

It's a beautiful beach promenade in Israel's city that never sleeps. Walk, bike or blade along the Tel Aviv boardwalk that hugs the Mediterranean coast, and you're sure to see the full range of Tel Avivians and guests engaging in leisure and sports -- whether swimming, playing matkot beach paddle ball, shopping or swinging from the colorful playground equipment. The boardwalk takes you from the Tel Aviv Port in the north of the city to Herbert Samuel Street going south toward Jaffa. You'll pass many luxury hotels along the way. ------- Visit the MFA's Social Media Channels: Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/IsraelMFA http://www.facebook.com/IsraeliVibe Twitter - http://www.twitter.com/Israel http://www.twitter.com/IsraelMFA Find us on Instagram: @IsraelMFA - http://instagram.com/isr...

South Street Seaport / PIER 17 This is a restoration of the old, busy port area on the East River. There is a boardwalk to the riverbank, stores and restaurants and a few restored sailing ships moored at Pier 17. In good weather there are fairs, concerts and festivals.
Holiday Inn Club Vacations South Beach Resort Review | Beach This is a beautiful place to stay! I have to say the pictures were confusing online. The walk to the beach seemed to be front the hotel, but it's actually across the street. But the Holiday Inn does have a spot that has a hot tub and outside pool walks from the ocean. We went on the off season, so it was super quiet. Lots of great stuff and a game room, deck and more! Beautiful views! Myrtle Beach, a city and vacation resort on South Carolina’s Atlantic coast, is the hub of the Grand Strand, a 60-mile string of beaches. It’s also known for its celebrity-designed golf courses. Along its beachfront boardwalk are arcades, souvenir stands and restaurants, as well as the old-fashioned Family Kingdom amusement park and the SkyW...

Starting by running the wrong way up a one-way street alongside Santa Cruz boardwalk, this lovely railroad 2 hours south of San Francisco, California takes you on a beautiful run up through the redwood forests of the Santa Cruz mountains. Your journey ends at Roaring Camp, where you can change trains for a narrow-gauge run behind a steam locomotive on the Roaring Camp & Big Trees Railroad. And the best part? Everyone waves at the train as it trundles by the front of their houses! So friendly!

Situated 63km from Seoul, Nami Island or Namiseom Island (남이섬 종합휴양지) is half-moon shaped isle in Cheongpyeong Lake, Gangwon Province. With the construction of Cheongpyeong Dam in 1944, the river water rose and as a result, this island was formed. Nami Island was named after General Nami, a notable figure in Korean history who served during the reign of King Sejo (1455-1468) and courageously fought in battles but died at the age of 28 after being falsely accused of treason. In 1965, Mr. Byeong-Do Minn aka "Tree-grandfather" used his retirement pension to purchase Nami Island and started to plant thousands of trees. In 2006, Nami Island declared its cultural independence from the Republic of Korea and became the Naminara Republic. This micro-nation has its own diplomatic and cultural pol...
This video shows the Philadelphia portion of the Schuylkill River Trail (SRT). The bike ride took place in late May of 2014. I started filming as I left Manayunk and finished the video near 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. It was a beautiful day for a bike and I'm sure you will notice the bright blue sky throughout the video. Here's what TrailLink.com has to say about this portion of the trail: The Schuylkill River Trail stretches 27 miles along the historic Schuylkill River, from downtown Philadelphia at the Philadelphia Museum of Art out to Montgomery County and Valley Forge National Historic Park. In Philadelphia, the trail uses Fairmount Park trails and the Manayunk Canal towpath. In Montgomery County, the trail follows a former Pennsylvania Railroad line. The trail is the spi...

Hollywood Blvd, the most famous street in Hollywood. Though it might be rare to see a real celebrity here (unless there's an event), the impersonators will surely amuse you. Hollywood Walk of Fame is one of the main attractions here. You'll see the names of celebrities in a star inlaid on the sidewalk of the street. On the forecourt of the TCL Chinese Theatre, you'll find the signature, hand and footprints of the biggest names in Hollywood. The Hollywood Sign is visible when you go up to the Hollywood & Highland Shopping Center. When they say,
I've watched them break
It happens to the best of us
They meant the ones before
With empty words and empty thought
I'm gonna make something more
Of myself than contradiction
That's what you've been waiting for
Well you can fucking wait
When we break every standard that you set
In our way
What have you got next?
What did you expect from us?
There's certain things that even time can't change
